I have had my speedster for almost 5 years. I have always done all the maintnance and now have a problem. Th symtoms are as follow. I was driving the boat fine one day and towing people on some tubes. All of a sudden the boat was not gennerating enough thrust to pull the tube or bring me up to plain. I removed the rope so that is was just myseld and two others in the boat. I hit the throttle and both motors seem to give good thrust untill they hit high rpms and then the boat just stops moving forward. what parts will i need to fix this problem. The engines all have great compression. Some mentioned that it could be the wear bearings. is that the only thing that would cause that problem. Please let me know thanks Mike. Also does anyone know where i can get a free pdf file to fix the problem.

To have that much cavitation... either your wear rings are missing parts... or the carbon seals are finally worn out.

If you become a premium member, you can get the service manual for your boat.

Hi there
We have a 2007 seadoo and we are having the same problem. Did you fix yours yet? and do you know where the carbon seal is on the boat?
