1997 Gtx throttle cuts out at full throttle.. hard starting

i just bought a 97' gtx and the it runs fine once you get it started, its hard to start and when you hit full throttle it bogs down, the fuel lines and the rectifier were replace also the plugs and wires. help!

were the carbs cleaned when the fuel lines were changed?

i would think so. but im not 100% the guy i bought it off of did everything. im sure he did.

hard starting and especially bogging at full throttle are typical symptoms of carb internal filters clogged due to the gray fuel lines. sometimes the fuel selector valve will get clogged also. you can try switching it to reserve and see if that makes a difference.
