I had a little toruble at the end of last season with my jet ski it first started out being hard to turn over then a squealing noise started the occur during slight acceleration. Now i have even more trouble when i turn the motor over the prop is tearing into the plastic caseing that it spins inside of i plan to start tearing down the assembly this week any adivce would be so helpful if anyone knows what to look for and possible what to replace it would be also very helpful thank you in advance

Get it apart and figure out whats going on...sounds like the bearings are totally shot.

If you find it all ground up I have many used ones available, some with brand new OEM wear rings.

I was guessing that i had some bearing gone too are these bearing the jet pump bearing or are they totally different
The plastic case that surrounds the prop is that what your takling about that you have used ones

No...the whole entire pump. When they go like that they usually get all gouged up where the bearings and seals go...which makes them worthless.

They are needle bearings on the inside, and a thrust bearing on the backside.

where would you reconmend getting a rebuild kit from how much would you guess i will run me in price

I would get it apart first and check it out. I think rebuild kits are around $60, but you need seal and bearing pullers and installers. OEM wear ring is around $50.

I sell pumps with good used bearings and shafts, the cone, and a new OEM wear ring for $180 shipped. Throw your prop on, put oil in and install.
