1997 GTI. No digital hour meter. How does one confirm hours of usage?

Working on purchasing one of these. Owner says it only has 20 hours. How do I confirm that? My friends GTX has a digital readout. This GTI has no type of Hobbs whatsoever. Thanks for any input. c good

Get seadoo shop to hook computer up I would think.

yep... the dealer can get it's run time.

I have a 96 GTI, I don't think it has an hour meter, and I don't think the dealer can read it. I guess you'll have to take his word.

20hrs. is nothing thats a couple of weekends riding for me.

Lou, Your '96 is old syle MPEM that was DESS Capeable. '97 was when the diagnostics & mpems changed.
