1997 Challenger Reverse Gate support

I'm looking for a supp-reverse (204170013) for a 1997 sea-doo challenger 1800. It is obsolete and there are no substitutes. Anyone know where I might be able to find one?

Thanks, but that dealer doesn't have it either. I can't seem to find this part anywhere. sucks big time..

Get a used reverse bracket from a 97 GTX. With a little modification, it should fit.

I have the same issue. Have you done this modification? I have been looking for some time now for a replacement, this is the first time I have seen anyone with this suggestion.

I modified one to fit years ago but I can't remember what I had to do or what model it was for. I work on a lot of PWCs and Sea-Doo boats. I believe it's just a minor mod.

Do you suggest I get a reverse gate for the GTX gate support, or should I get the correct reverse gate for the 97 Challenger? The supports look the same on the drawings, but the gate looks alittle smaller from the pics I see online.

I have a 97GTX, that i'm parting out. If you need the reverse gate/parts, pm me.

Just to follow up any case anyone else has this issue. Seadoo part# 204170051 is an exact match to 204170013. Not sure why Seadoo doesn't refer this part number but I can tell you it works perfectly.
