Someone said..... if I needed some help figuring out where things go on the SPX..... Well I got a cooling water line I need to connect. It's on the exhaust pipe all by it's lonesome. I checked the fitting that connects to the engine under the exhaust pipe and it is not a "TEE" I've seen a few fittings like that. I can't see any other place wher this one would connect. It's gonna be rough if I gotta pull that off with the exhaust system on there and I'm not removing it. Forward..... not backward.. :D:D I did look at the diagram but can't see with enough detail. Help is appreciated SPX Painted Exhaust.jpg

Here are a few more pictures which may help. Connection point in question is circled.SPX Cooling Water2.jpg

Close up of the connection fitting. I'm not sure I have it pointing in the correct direction. :)SPX Cooling Water3.jpg

This is the bottom of the exhaust manifold and the line heads to the rear of the ski.SPX Cooling Water 4.jpg

No other cooling water connections hiding under there. This is the engine before I disassembled it for a top end.

Picture of engine before disassembly has hose & tee (mag side) both hoses go to pipe.

The larger black hose going from the head shell to the fitting just above the one circled.... there should be a "T" in that hose, and should feed both pipe fittings.

Dang it, I just had my 96' SPX at the house yesterday. I can get you a picture after work today if you still need it.

Ahhhh..... I see now. I have to get up to speed on these Seadoo Diagrams. :) They break the parts down.... I found that diagram but didn't quite get the flow process as I couldn't follow it that well on my computer screen. Thanks so much for the help !! Is this a special tee that i need to order?

Boy O Boy how did I miss that !! :D :D Good eye !! Glad I posted this stuff. Sometimes it is right in front of you and you don't see it. I kept focusing on the pipe. If I had that set up... I just still have the fitting them. Thanks !!

Well thanks To St. Anthony not only did I find one connector all set up and ready to go but TWO !! LOL Cleaned them both out and now I have a spare which is "always" good.
