1996 Gtx difficult start-up

When cold starting with new plugs she starts up fine and runs amazing. If I try and start it again it is a pain in the ass, if it will start again. I have to hold the start button and lightly feather the throttle. But still that only works sometimes. If I can get it to start it runs just as good as every. If anyone has any ideas plz help. (I have checked compression)
