Yussa probably makes the best battery, you need YTX20L-BS which is a sealed battery, I just picked one up from JC Whitney for around $120.:cheers:

Well here is the deal. I am going to look at a couple of skis tomorrow that have dead batteries. I want to pick up a cheap everlast from walmart just to test the skis. What would the everlast epuivalent be? I plan on getting some YTX's if I get the skis. Thanks

The YUASA number YB 16 CLB would be the correct size battery for a 96 GTX.

A size 14 motorcycle battery is a low cost way to get going, but expect a 2-3 lifespan, the oddesy seems to be the premium choice where lifetime goes into 7-8 years.
