Could someone be kind enough to take a few pics for me of the electronics? Specifically I need an overhead view of the engine bay, the mpem with the cover off, and under the drybox in the helm.

I recently purchased this speedster and there are a few questions that I need to answer with some pics. Thanks!

There's a jerry rigged toggle switch under the dry box. The wires that connect to it are white, black, and brown with a tan stripe. I can't find anything about the brown/tan wire. Also, none of it is currently plugged up.

I also noticed that there is a brown wire with a ring terminal in the main electrical box that was fed in with one of the red wires that's not presently hooked up to anything. Is this factory?

I did not get an original seadoo key with the boat, where could I find one? Also, do these gauges have an opening sequence when the key is turned? When is the blower supposed to kick on?

Sorry for so many questions; I'm brand new to these boats but not seadoos in general. Proud to be apart of the forum, I've learned quite a bit in a few hours! Thanks!

the brown and tan wire in mine has a plug at the end and reads power on, off with the key. I would send you a pic but Im curenlty haveing a mpem convertion made so it prolly wouldnt do you much good. I do see the ignitions with keys on ebay sometimes. Blower kicks on when you turn the blower twitch on.

Hope that helps

One set is to my stereo amp, the other is to a cigarette lighter outlet so I can charge my phone while out.

Thanks for taking the time to do take those great pics, it's going to help me out trying to figure out this jerry rigged blower motor switch lol. Thanks again!

I'm pretty sure i've got it figured out now. It appears that the bilge switch and the blower went bad so the previous owner decided to fix it himself. It looks like he used a ground wire and the aux power wire in the drybox for a quick fix. Thanks again for all of your help, I doubt I could have figured this out with wiring diagrams alone!
