1995 Seadoo sporster sbt engine no spark

I was just wondering if anyone can help me. I just put in an sbt engine and now i get no spark. I know it is not the engine, but electrical. I checked coil, the readings were good. redings from the mpem are good. Stator has good readings. It turns over but has no spark. I heard that if the ground wire to the engine doesnt have a good connection, then i wont have a spark. if that is so, then the starter would not work either, right? can anyone please help me.

There are multiple grounds. There is the big, main ground cable... but there are a couple small grounds too, that ground the rest of the electrical system.

If you had a spark before the engine swap... I would just go over the entire electrical system again. Look for any missed connection, or plug that isn't pushed in totally.

the whole electrical system has beem checked. I was reading on some sites that say it is most likely the main ground from the engine to the battery. My question is, will it crank if that was bad. My engine cranks.

Yes... it can. The starter ground is the battery cable... but from the engine back to the gray box... there are grounds going to different parts. One of those grounds could be bad. (chances are, it's not the "Main" ground since you crank)

Also... if the entire system has been checked... then there wouldn't be a problem. SO... if you want help... don't say that. (not being harsh... just saying the truth)

One thing to try... pull the Black/Red wire that intersects the Coil feed, and goes back to the MPEM. That is the kill wire. If you have spark after you pull that... then either there is a short in the wire... or the MPEM is bad.

I am just getting frustrated with this boat. I can't this thing to spark. I really need help. I checked all the grounds, but couldnt find that red and black wire.
