1995 Seadoo SPI tech info needed
I just started my wave-runner for the first time this year and when it started there was a burning smell of plastic or rubber. It turns out to be the drive system protection hose clamp was loose towards the rear of the unit and seems that whatever is under that hose the clamp will not grab onto when tightening. the hose is about 3 inches long with 2 hose clamps. I did see black plastic shredding in the hull. Can someone tell me the problem and the solution along with if possible a remedy in repairing the problem.
