1995 spi Seadoo 587 cranks but no spark

Hi y’all new to the forum was looking for some help on my 1995 Seadoo spi 587cc been having trouble, so here’s the problem go to start it cranks over no spark, I opened up the box where mpem is disconnected the black red stripe wire between mpem and coil and it fires up, so next I tested the thether kill switch with ohm meter all was good. I than ran out of time and it sat for months, decided one day to drain old gas and tow into town to gas station to add fresh gas after I added gas I tryed to start it with everything back to original no wires bypassed or nothing and it fired up, I towed it back home down rough road and tried to start at home cranks over but lost spark.
