I have a 2009 speedster 150 255 HP and was wondering what the proper way of cleaning and lubricating the engine was. What I do is spray it with the water hose gun on the spray option and then lubricate using the XP-S Spray. I usually spray it on when its still wet. Am I supposed to air dry it before I spray the Lubricant on?

Wow, you're right no response to this.
What I do is to use an engine cleaner such as "gunk" or "engine bright" to remove any grease or oil in the hull or on engine. I then spray lightly on the engine but use fuller force on the inside of hull except on the electrical boxes. I must use a shop vac to remove all of the water, since Seadoo built little ridges and gulleys into the hull design, the water won't drain even when I tip it up about chest high.

After air drying I would use a WD40 spray or something similar.

Good Luck
