15 a fuse blows when connecting to the rectifier. 94 XP

Please help! I bought a new MCEM and rectifier thinking that the rectifier went bad and blew a diode in the MCEM but after replacing both the fuse still blows. Has anyone gone through this or know what i'm doing wrong? Also getting no spark and i'm assuming this is the reason.

Test stator and pick up.
disconnect the stator, and see if the fuse still blows

Thank you did this test yesterday and found that it was the stator. this has stumped me for a while.
