1211 on crank seals & rotary valve seal?

I have some ATV motors that call for thread locker on the outside of the seals ( crank, etc) to hold them in place and make sure they're sealed.

After doing some reading leaking outer crank seals leads to a lean condition and leaking inner crank and rotary valve seals lead to 2-stroke oil filling the crank and/or cylinders.

Is it OK to put a thin coat of 1211 on the outside of these 5 seals to help them seal in the cases and prevent future issues?

Also, I removed my rotary valve shaft to replace the rotary gear cushion o-ring and now the outer front seal is so loose it just spins with the rotary shaft. From what I've read this seal needs to be tight to prevent oil leaking in to the rotary valve cavity?

If so, this means completely pulling the rotary shaft apart and might as well replace the bearing as well as the front seal?

I personally don't if the seals are going to leak the outside is not where they are going to leak at they will leak around the lip that rides on the crankshaft , plus Seadoos don't spit crankshaft seals out.

When you remove the RV shaft you will need to press that seal back in, I'll bet it hasn't seated and is just sitting there. If it's touching the spline drive it hasn't been seated in.

This is not installed yet, but the seal will be lower. Remember there is also a snap ring that goes in there to hold the seal from pushing out. Is that in there? Hope you put a little oil behind the inner bearing just to be on the safe side.

I did oil the bearing pocket before I put it in.

The seal front is behind the RV face, not sure if it's back far enough for the snap ring though, I'll double check in the AM.

This seal needs to be tight though to avoid leaking oil in to the cases?

You should have to drive that seal in. I use a socket that just catches the outside edge where the seal is the strongest. I may have the wrong seal if it spins in there.
