I need advice. My 2002 RXDI has a 12 volt low code. I tested the voltage at the battery and was only 12.5 volts at 4000 RPM. So I installed a new voltage regulator/rectifier. Now at 4000 rpm I’m getting 14 volts. But the ski is still showing 12 volt low And running in limp mode. Any help would be very appreciated. Thank you.

If you are getting 14 volts then it should reset itself.
Try holding down the set button for 5 seconds and see if it resets itself.
What kind of rectifier did you buy? I only recommend OEM as after market rectifiers are cheap and unreliable.

No it will not usually reset the code. I am very interested in what kind of rectifier was installed? OEM or Aftermarket?

I’m not sure what kind it is. Got it from Amazon. The Rop shop was the supplier.

Just went on amazon. That is an after market rectifier. I am pretty sure that this rectifier is a “sometimer.” Works intermittently. I had one once that did the same thing. Replaced with OEM and have had 0 problems since.
Do yourself a favor, bit the bullet and purchase an OEM rectifier.
At the top of the page is a parts icon. Go there and look up your ski. Will be part #36 on the diagram at about $183. I know it is a little expensive, but it is really cheaper in the long run because you will only buy it once.
The old one lasted 16yrs.

P.S. if you go to the dealer it is going to cost about $212.

I hate to discount our site sponsors but $50 is $50, the OEM rectifier is $137 from Pro Caliber and free shipping.

I just ordered a new one from Pro Caliber so we will see. I hope that is all it is. I will let you know once I get it. Thanks for the help.
