Thanks Dr for the reply.I just refueled it and the oil is above 1/2 tank. The gauges all look fine. I have done some reading and it says that that beeping pattern is a code 5 which could be a few different things including low voltage. From the reading i have done, none of the problems with fuel or oil will put the boat in limp mode.I assume that limp mode means that the throttle will not go beyond 5000 rpms.I am going to take a look at the electrical system. I keep my boat on a custom trailer on the beach so unless i can get the dealership to make a house call then i will have to figure out a way to get the boat back on the road . I store my boat on this modified bunk trailer but i pull it up a ramp and it sits on the ramp at about a 45 degree angle. Is there any problem storing my boat at this angle for days at a time.
I am going to take my multimeter down and check voltages when running but the boat starts fine and the the battery is a good quality marine battery and is less then a year old. I have had this problem before were it would just beep once but it has always gone away either by stopping the boat and restarting it or by just waiting a minute then trying it again. Without getting the service code anything else to look at ?
