Yea, t-chains were a failure item in the mid 2000's with the 215's. The whole motor has to come apart, including the block halves. It's quite a procedure, but do-able with a few special tools, a repair manual and lots of patience. I'd replace the chain with a new OEM (they have since updated the chain), replace the flywheel bolts, get a new set of valves (as the 07's were also prone to fail), and don't re-use any of the case stretch bolts. The head CAN be reused if you measure the bolts and them to be in-spec. But it's probably better to replace them too. Also, rebuild the S/C with steel washers. I went ahead and got an updated OEM kit and rebuilt mine. All in all, the parts cost me about $1k. I needed a special valve spring compressor tool (~$30), some supercharger tools (I think ~$35 from SBT), and an accurate torque wrench (borrowed neighbor's).
