Hello all,
I recently purchased an 05 Seadoo GTX. When I bought it I didn't water test it but the owner did start it for me and let it idle briefly no issues.
I take the ski to the lake two days later. I back my jeep down the ramp, as i'm backing it down I can hear the Ski beeping once consistently then my wife and starts it and backs its away while I go park.
She meets me at the dock and kills it. I hop on and push us off and go to start it and nothing. I try to disconnect the lanyard from the post and put it back on and nothing.
I swim us over to the shore take off the seat check the battery is plugged in, didn't see anything out of the ordinary.
We wait for about 10 minutes. I put the key back on the post and all the sudden the ski comes to the life and its fine. We ride it around for 10 minutes and I want to see if it will repeat symptoms and sure enough. As soon as I kill it, I get nothing from the ski.
Anyone have tips of what to check?
Thanks in advance
