04 wake crank sensor issue

My 2004 seadoo wake sunk at the dock due to opas boot split. I drained it out, removed the intake manifold and muffler and dried them out completely. Changed the oil and tried to start it. Won't start. Comes up with code p0337. I checked the crank sensor at 246ohms. Same at the ecu pins. Pulled the engine out and replaced the crank sensor anyway. Still won't start. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
The encoder wheel looked like it has a 2 tooth gap which I assumed is normal for it to know where number 1 cylinder is? 20250717_171301.jpg
Not a great picture but the gap is around the 10 o'clock area

When I rebuilt my engine last year, I remember reading about checking the gap between the encoder wheel and the sensor (all of the tangs); did you do that step? Too wide of a gap will reduce the voltage signal since this is a variable reluctance sensor. Signal strength needs to be 500mv minimum, and you really need a lab scope to analyze the signal properly. Once you've verified the ECU is getting a good crankshaft position signal, and if it's still not starting, you need to perform all of the standard steps for a no start condition ... check spark, fuel, etc.

Have you checked all the wires and connectors for voltage drop? The ECU is your last step. Sunken skis are notorious for hidden corrosion.

Update; I checked the mpem plugs and blew a bit of water out, removed the mpem completely along with the harness and dried it out. Cleaned one terminal that was suspect. Turns out it is a Yellow w green stripe that goes to a grey communication plug-a small component without a pin for that wire)
I checked the crank pos sensor and it makes 2.1 amps a/c so I assume the gap is sufficient and makes 2.15 volts a/c.
Injectors have 12.5v as do all ignition coils.
Map sensor has 5volt reference.
Cam sensor has 12v at grn/yel and yel/grey wires

.94 volts at crank sensor white/yellow wire with sensor unplugged?
And .67 volts on the blue/yellow wire.
That seems weird to me.

Still has no spark or fuel injection and code p0337 when cranking.

Grounds to ecu plugs are good as well as mpem. Everything else seems to function.

Update: It turns out the ecm was bad for some reason. I replaced the mpem first to no avail. Now of course it has a 1517 compass code even tho it doesn't have a compass. ffs
I managed to find an identical running machine which I bought for parts. I guess if I'm gonna run these old seadoos it makes sense to have a small stockpile.
