I read your threads tested my stator all yellow have .4 ohm to each other and no short to ground on stator. Battery is not charging. I figure refulator is bad. Have you heard of jetski plus regulators. They say they meet or exceed oem specs. Would you risk this or buy a used one oem one.

Did you test a/c voltage from stator? I see you tested for ohms but you need to test for a/c current which gets turned into d/c by regulator.

Download your service manual, and follow the steps on pages 562-566. Rectifier/regulator amperage to battery should be 5A @ 6000 RPM. Stator output should be 25 VAC @ 3,500 RPM. You'll need an inductive amp meter to confirm amperage.

From what mjacks posted is correct his stator is not putting out . I had around 20-22 at idle and increased with rpms. I was also told to check voltage at regulator and by rectifier ..

So my old stator didnt seem to be putting out correct voltage so i pulled enging and replaced it with an oem used one. New one is putting out 25vac on all three legs at 3500rpm. Still not output from oem voltage regulator or aftermarket voltage reg. I cannot access the manuals through my membership for some reason to diag regulator
