04 GTX wont start

My 2004 GTX wont start. I put the key in and it makes a loud long beep and a few short beeps, The display says check engine and it wont even turn over when I press the start button. Any suggestions of what I should do to troubleshoot it?

How many beeps do you hear? Is the dess post and cap clean also? Get back and well figure it out.

Im not sure how many times im not with the ski right now. The key is clean and it starts beeping when I place the key in the holder. Is there any way that I can clear the computer?

Only the seadoo dealer can clear the code after the problem is repaired. If it has codes it has to go the the dealer anyway. If you can count the beeps it will tell us where the problem is, based on the diagnostic code sheet. If it has more than 1 code it will only display 1 at a time till it is fixed than the next one will surface if there is more than one. If it showed "Maint" it could be a maintenance is due and could be reset by pushing the set button.

When I put the key in the display says "sensor" and it deeps 4 short beeps The dealer says that the battery may be low but I charged it and it wasnt

It was winterized but never de winterized could that be the reason it is not starting?
