Hi all been a while as injury has forced them to sit. Fully charged battery; ran it in water on the trailer for 5-7 mins. Launched it cruised a bit; wot cruised again feeling good. Stopped for 5 mins drifting to wash off the dirt, put on the key hit start; all I got was a loud "CLUNK" no crank. Sounded like hydrolock on a 2 stroke. The display was blank then "SEA-DOO" on the bottom half of the display appeared; nothing else. Ideas where to start the trouble shooting? No water in the oil for starters. Had to v had to get home for dinner and no time to go further into it. I've searched a bit here and haven't seen my symptoms.

I think you will find a poor connection or bad battery. I would get the battery load tested and see where the numbers are. If it is good, then check connections out. But it is likely at the battery as that is the only place you touched since they sat.

The clunk is kind of scary. Confirm battery is good and then bypass the starter solenoid by going battery positive right to the starter side of the solenoid. If no crank, pray.
