Hi.

I have an 02 gtx limited with 110 hours. I get a long warning beep after i start to accelerate to 4k rpm then the engine bogs down. I get no code, just oil flashes on the dash.
When idle or engine is at operating temperature everything runs fine. I do use the proper bombardier oil for this machine.

Faulty sensor perhaps? If so whats the cost of one from ones local stealership?

Sounds like a faulty sensor but we need to know the code it is throwing. When it's beeping and flashing oil press the SET button 5 times and that will display the code or codes on the screen.

Thanks for the reply. I did as you said but its odd, I dont get any codes on the screen. I just get the word "end" and after that a shortish beep which stops the warning. Least until I accelerate to 4k RPM then the warning comes back. Again once the engine is warm, all of this goes away and it runs normal.

thoughts?

I'm stumped. if it beeps and goes into limp mode there should be a code. I'm not sure why that's not the case here.

Oh no that's the mystery ghost code. Nobody seems to know what it is from what I've found.

Mine does the same thing exactly Im thinking its one of the oil sensors but since it stops after the ski is warmed up Im not worried about it. The oil switches dont cost much and are easy to replace on there.
