02 gtx 4-tec fuel problem

I have a 02 GTX 4 Tec I just purchased been sitting for about 2 years the guy said that it was getting hot and he parked it. I took it down to the water with a fresh battery and it started right up and I saw that the water supply line coming to the motor was laying in the bottom of the hull, I hooked it back up and took it for a little spin and it died on me. Got a tow back to the ramp and tried to get a siphon hose down into the tank and it takes too many sharp Corners I could not get a hose down in there I then proceeded to pull the line off of the fuel rail to try to siphon it from there and could not get any suction there I finally got a hose down into the tank and siphoned out the gas put fresh gas in there and now I am not getting any fuel to the fuel rail does anybody have any ideas

Sure, get a CanDoo and a fuel pressure gauge. FUEL pressure should be 44 PSI.

Can a fuel pump out of a 99 GSX Rfi work in this application

They do not

Didn't think they would, the GSX being a different hull, probably a different fuel tank, and it's a 2 stroke.

I have a used fuel pump assembly out of a 2002 GTX 4tec. The 02 and 03 155 fuel pumps are a little different than all the others. PM me if you are interested.

Do you hear the fuel pump start when you put the key on?

I do not hear it charge up when I put the key on, how much for the pump

The fuel pump out of that RF I actually worked the housings were different because of the different depths of gas tanks but I just swapped everything out Plug & Play and it works just fine. Thank you for the response
