01 RX Carb

He guys I might be looking at 01 RX carb this week. I've never had a 951 ski. Anything particular I need to look for other than the usual used 2 stroke seadoo check list. (fuel lines, compression, pump condition, etc).

If you can inspect the balance shaft oil reservoir then that gives you an idea of any water intrusion in the engine.

Good point! I hope it works out. I don't know if its just me but a 96 XP and a 01 RX is a sweet pair to have!

Listen to the motor running...they are known for crank issues so if it sounds like a box of rocks be prepared for an engine rebuild.

Nick is that just a 951 in general thing or attached to certain year models? I have read that the 951 cranks are a weak point and won't last as long as a 787's. This ski has 86 hours on it.
