A ski's value is also based on the availability of used ski's. If you live in an area where used ski's are listed by the dozen every day then the value of the ski is less than in an area where there is a limited supply of used ski's. Down here in SW florida that ski would not even sell for 2995. For example, I just sold a 99 GTX with a fully rebuilt engine, hydro turf pads and seat cover. Gauges and hull were perfect and it was on a nice shorelander trailer. Sold for 2700, I had it listed for 3000 for a month and finally took the 2700. My point being, look elsewhere to compare prices, even if you have to drive a little bit for the best deal.
Hope this helps,
Bruce
