I have had 3 GTX RFI over the year and I have always changed the oil when I get them ready for the winter. I have always had to remove the old oil before I add the new.

I also think it could be the coil. I had a 2002 GTX RFI in my shop that had a bad spark plug and it would start and idle fine but in the water 3500 rpm was the top rpm. The hard thing was that the motor ran so good with only the one good spark plug ran without a skip just no power.

I wired it in from a wire that has 12 volts at the back of the gauges.
On both my RFI's they were over charging at 16 volts that's why I replaced the rectifiers. The problem with them over charging is that the Seadoo ran fine and I wouldn't of know without doing a check with a meter also charging at 16 volts will take out the MPEM so I'm told.. Now I have...
