    RESTO Pre 93 SP Restoration

Rivet holes - Just use some Marine Epoxy Putty to fill the holes. It's easy, rub some in your hands and then apply. I never needed to drill, as the majority of rivets fell out. Seadoo 93 SP Manual - 1993 SeaDoo Manuals - FREE PDF Download!

02 gtx 4 tec buzzing comming from mpem

Are you both sure the MPEM is grounded properly? It's got to be a connection issue somewhere. Re-check and clean all your connections This happened to my friend when he was removing/reinstalling the engine, he forgot to attach the 2 grounds and the MPEM made a faint buzzing noise.

XPL - Couple of Issues from Riding

Thanks @mikidymac @SabrToothSqrl I will check the Carbon Seal again and engine alignment. If the carbon ring is needing replaced, is there anyway i can get through the last month of summer with a temporary fix? I heard adding zip ties to the creases in the boot can stop it compressing? Bilge...

XPL - Couple of Issues from Riding

Hey guys, After riding last weekend I have a couple of issues I wanted some guidance with. 1) I seem to be have a lot of cavitation between idle and 3500 rpm. On inspection it appears the clamp on the driveshaft boot came loose and sprayed water and carbon around the back of the boat. See...

    WSM Fuel Filter

Hey thanks for the info. Yeah I ended up refitting the old one. It's not particularity loose, it's just when i take the cup off and stick it up into the cap it falls back off into my hand. I ended up getting a refund. The only way i think it would actually fit would be to turn the cap upside...

Anyone ever hand balmed a GTI SE 155 or 130 on its trailer?

Has your trailer got a third wheel/jack at the front? I dont, :( I am in a slightly similar position and i have a small incline up to the garage. Even an XPL, (which is light by today's standards) it's a struggle lifting the trailer and moving it.. Sometimes i actually need to take a run at...

RESTO 1997 Sea Doo GTX complete re gelcoat and rebuild

Looks great! I was going to do the same but I ended up just using Epoxy Appliance Paint for my hull. Gel-Coating is definitely the best, but it's an absolutely brutal job to do! Just a question, is it cheaper to rebuild an engine yourself rather than using a rebuild/exchange service?

    WSM Fuel Filter

Hey Guys, Question, I bought a WSM 951 fuel filter replacement. Before installing, I compared it to the OEM Seadoo filter and it felt a little flimsy. I went to attach it to the cap before installing the fuel cup and it wouldn't stick. The OEM filter sticks on fine which allows you to install...

1998 carb 951....what counterbalance shaft oil

Apparently you can use the Jet Pump oil. I went with the SAE 30. I replace mine every 10 hours, extreme yes, but it's a 951, it needs all the love it can get!

RESTO 1998 GSX Limited (Red & Purple)

Thanks for taking the time to reply. Yep that makes sense. I forgot about the potential condensation condition! I'll probably just hold off them!

RESTO 1998 GSX Limited (Red & Purple)

Hey MikidyMac, How come you are suggesting to remove the G2 on the 951? My friend has an XPL and swears by the G2 after a carb blockage caused a premature engine failure. He recently opened his carbs and they were extremely clean after a 1.5 years usage. I haven't been on the forums for...

2000 XP Needs 1000 More RPM

Glad you got it sorted. The "runs to 5700rpm" is probably one of the most common issues seen with the 951 ski's. Unfortunately, it can be so many different things. Slightly strange how it's always this rpm figure as well. Anyway, while your down there check the condition of the pulse...

    2000 rx 951 little issue

Why are you removing the exhaust? If it's to rebuild the carbs, don't remove the exhaust, you can remove them with the exhaust in place. Actually, I think you need to remove the carbs first before you can even remove the exhaust.
