Hello all. I have aquired (ha ha) a 95 speedster in really "great shape". Compression is below 130 and the throttle cables do nothing at the carbs until they have moved through half of their travel. It looks as though I will be getting my hands dirty in the next few days whether I like it or not.
I was s o looking forward to getting on the water before the days became shorter and the temps became cooler. So I'm into tops for both engines at least. What a way to spend my valuable recreation time.
This is not a real problem for me as I have a 1947 Stinson 108 and a 1956 Champion 7EC aircraft in my back yard. In my "shack" I have a 1992 Harley sportster slightly modified for my riding pleasure, a 1992 BMW K75RT (very smooth and quick like a bunny)
and a Honda XRV 750 Africa Twin, much like the BMW big GS bikes. (never sold in North America...Bought this one in England) now in the process of being restored, New spokes, rims powder coated rebuilt forks, new paint, haven't cracked the engine and I'm trying not to. I'll post a picture of that one.
I am looking for a detailed shop manual for my toy boat so I can get on with repairs and do them right.
Looking forward to chatting with many here.
Anybody here know anything about a 1922 G&S Holloway shot gun?
Kind regards.
