Yet Another...GTX 215 New Crankcase Oil Question

Hi all
I am knew to the forum and have been broweing the the member posts.
It seems that there is a tremindous cloak of secrecy in the Sea Doo family concerning the proper oil to use. I have just been told by two dealers that dispite what my manual clearly states is the proper oil that the new Synthetic blend is the new and improved answer to the never ending question of mineral or synthetic. Also the container assures owners that this absolutely the best oil to use. Any thoughts on this matter??

im not to sure about the new oil as im not going to be buying it. Im switching to amsoil witch they say is fine in the 215hp ( i have the 155hp) The mineral oil is just regular oil so say Castrol GTX 10w-40 is the same as seadoos mineral 10w-40. If you still have ceramics washer 1. Change them 2. stick with a mineral oil till you change to metal washers. Id use what ever your manual say dont listen to your deal cause they dont know what there talking about.
