any helpful suggestion as to where to get parts or whats compatible would be greatly appreciated.. my boat is a 97 twin challenger

You know, I'm wondering if any twin seadoo boat that those will interchange??.. I'm assuming you have the 787's??

hey bro,

mine is a 98 and i think i have the smaller motor 717 i think, its at my friends farm right now or id check the size of the pump and try and find some sit down parts

I just drove out to the jacsonville guy last sunday (7.5 hrs round trip) for a shift handle. interior on the boat was trashed. jet pumps and nozzles were all the in fair shape. his had the twin 787's. I may take anouther trip for a motor in couple weeks if you are interested in me grabbing some thing and shipping it to you.

junkyardj needs those parts...ill measure my speedster and see if they are the same distance apart.

well if my budget works out and I can pickup the engine for a fair price I will snag the other parts for a small gas fee.

BTW my 98 1800 w/ twin 787's measures 20.75 from center to center on the nozzles and 21.25 from end to end on the alignment rod.

man that would be great ! how did your deal go with that guy if you dont mind me asking?

im currently talking with a guy for a set of steering nozzles so hopefully all ill need is reverse buckets and a set of linkages

thanks for the help fella's!!

he seems like an honest guy... has a ton of ski's and couple boats he is parting out. it will be two weeks minimum before I go out there if at all. depends if his motor is worth a darn and priced right. if he want 600 I might as well buy a new one.

if you think he's honest thats good to know since he want me to pay him threw credit union rather then paypal... you guys got it made down in sunny FL with all those parts i cant seen to get my hands on lol! anyone know what size the pumps are?

I just can't believe the outboard parts are any different from boat to boat. Dr Honda can chime in and know for sure.

apparently the 140 pumps are common threw boats and sitdowns bt the reduction and turn nozzles arnt, the buckets can be modified im told aswell but ill have to see once i get them.. maybe ill make my first thread when i modify a set of buckets, hpefully i wont crash into the doc when they fail haha

i have venturis and nozzles. may have reverse gates as well

pm sent thanks Pat!

When you went to that boat in Jacksonville, does the trailer look like it would make it 600 miles thinking about going to get it for parts? The owner said it might make it 100 miles? Thanks

I honestly would not trust the trailer to make it out of his yard. There are zero ladder supports anywhere behind he axle. The boat has actually dropped down in between the rails and is basiclly sitting on the axle.
