WTB 96 Full MPEM

This is For My Brother in Pompano Beach Florida. Riva is trying to rip him off with a $2,500 bill and I need to find these PARTS.

Their Resolution Says: Replaced Battery Positive Cable End, Has No Power To Starter or Relay, Corrosion, Everywhere

Motor Spins over by hand , steering is stiff, will need more time to verify

May have bad MPEM or other bad components.

Inspected unit further , found main electrical mpem is shorted. Will need to replace both main and Sub MPEM Boxes



HE IS NO TECH. IS I WAS DOWN THERE IT WOULD BE A DIFF STORY, HOWEVER I AM IN NEW JERSEY. I JUST WANT TO GET HIM THE PARTS TO GET BACK IN THE WATER, THANKS !

PM either minnetonka4me or 99spxxx, or both, they should have the parts you need, probably not going to be cheap. I have a new MPEM for a 96GSX, but honestly I'm reluctant to sell it someone who is in your words "NO TECH.".

do you have exactly what I need above ?


Also a buddy said he could give me a Cdi box ect I guess the older style which DO NOT REQUIRE the DESS KEY to be PROGRAMMED. Does anybody have any experience with that?

Even if the CDI doesn't require programming on a 96 MPEM probably has the DESS feature which will require programming the lanyard to the MPEM. BTW what 96 ski is this for?

It does help a lot to know what its for you have different motors and hard to guess what its for little lone spend the time searching part #s for what you put
