Worn shaft splines????

Replacing the impeller. Would like to get some opinions whether the shaft should be replaced as well. Have a look at the pic.

2012 seadoo Gtx limited is260.

Heard the screeching and no thrust shortly after. Impeller is shot.

Clean it up and then retake the pictures.
