yea, thats right... so, if you only go thru a .45 cent toll, they send you a bill for $3.45 for a damn "processing fee"..bc even on their website they say its to "cover the cost of taking the picture of every car that passes"....yea, bout to sign up for sun pass...i never heard of this sh*t, then all the sudden i get a letter in the mail, with a pic of me towing my 2000 gp760. at first i was like, wtf, govt is stalking me...lol

miami boy, take a pic of the exact pump body piece you have thats missing...i may have one and save you a sh*t ton of money...make it a good pic..take a few pics... and what carb model is it?

That's good to know. I'll be in Bradenton over Thanksgiving then maybe moving there in a year or two.
I paid tolls last Jan and March at the booth w/o a sunpass card, coming down from the Tampa airport.

Just cover up your plate when you go thru........LOL
Do they have plate cops watching the cameras?

40:1 is recommended...you are at 42.6:1, so you are close enough. better more than less. Actually you need 3.2oz per gallon of gas for 40:1.
You need oil in the tank to lube the rotary valve(i think that's the name). Keep the line connected to the bottom of engine to the oil tank.
DON"T RUN IT AGAIN UNTIL YOU DO IT.

Order a new switch from minnetonka4me or his bro 99spxxx.........pretty cheap with shipping

42/1 is less than 40/1,This is less oil.Get it correct

miamiboy, goin home for lunch within the hour, so post your pics.. i saw the partsfinder, but if you post an actual pic, i can tell...i think i have it...just wanna make sure its the same carb... look it up and see if its the same carb on yours as the 96 spx.. i think its the same, but just double check...

and the more i think of it, WOW, you're friend must've TRULY been a moron or he takes the little yellow bus to school (no disrespect)..like how can you take a carb apart, SEE that the filter came out, and just toss it over your shoulder and act like it was never in there...i just dont get it...

arite, so i never got your answer, i either overlooked your response or u didnt post it...so, you've got a single carb right?
for the most part, it looks the same, but i see a few differences, and i think thats only cuz its a single and not a double.. the carb itself should have a number on it...what is it?

.so, you've got a single .. the carb itself should have a number on it...what is it?

i cant find that number unless its the long number on the part where the air filter goes.. but i think its the same because on shopsbt.com the carb rebuild kit is the same it list both seadoos for the same rebuild kit..

its definitely a SBN CARB the rebuild kit is listed as MIKUNI SBN Carb Rebuild Kit

Thanks for your help!

okie dokie...well im actually waiting for my motormounts to come and i gotta sign for them, so i'm not going home for lunch, but i will check when i get home..if my motormounts show up today, which they should..i'll be here til dark..like 7-7:30 then i'll get on and tell you..but yea, i think theres a bn carb and an sbn carb...

ok thanks a lot 96spxpos.

i was just thinking, do you know if i could just fill the nicked part up with some jb weld?? i know its probably a dumb question, but dont hurt to ask right?

I dont think the j.b. weld in there is a good idea...all those parts are cast like that for a reason. even though that stuff is tough, i think gas passing through there will eventually break some of the particles down and wind up giving you fuel delivery issues.

As far as your carb parts, i have them, i checked last night....
you may have to clean them though.
so how do you wanna do this?

Well first off thank you very very much. i really appreciate you helping me out. do you have the pump body and the screen?
How much do you want for them? do you have paypal?

i was looking on usps.com and i could get next day express mail for like $20. its a big envelope that it says as long as its less than 70lbs.. you could wrap them up real good in newspaper or something and ship in the envelope...it includes $100 insurance..

yea i live in the keys...sorry was ACTUALLY getting some work done today...yea if you're in miami, it wont take long at all...
a day tops... i'll get them together tonight and ship them to you in the morning on the way to work...
I might just give you both carbs and you can sort thru them...
my luck tho, i'll need a part from them a week after i send it...
so do me a favor, i'll send you everything, then just take ONLY WHAT YOU NEED, and when i pass you on the way up on the 27th or on the way back down on the 30th, i'll pick up the rest of the parts...
just send me your address
