Then remove the 4 #10mm bolts holding intake on motor with a open wrench or small ratchet.
Remove 6 smaller hex bolts holding carb intake to remove oil pump. Then block hole with plate you buy for 12-15 bucks.
Cap the two little oil feed lines.
Your done.

The oil pump feed line is the one with the filter which you remove.
The others coming off oil tank are the the RV feed and return which you leave in place and don't have to touch.

ok i'll let you know how all turns out once i get the carb rebuild kit..

i dont plan on taking it out until then. and i'll change all the oil lines because they look really bad.

do you know the best place to get a mikuni rebuild kit for a 92 seadoo sp?

Just do it now. Its easy since carbs are off.
No need to change oil lines. Only if supply to RV is bad. Otherwise line with filter is removed. The little oil lines are capped from intake.
They say to remove oil pump gear if you premix.

ok i'll get it today...

do u know where there is a seadoo shop in miami? i go to miami like once a week

If I'm not mistaken a Full authorized Seadoo Manual is about $85.00. Clymer is cheaper but often wrong...I know I have one.

Which ones?

,

what about the one in your in box i sent

the link did not work. i dont know why.

well it seems my fuel pump is not sucking fuel at all, an theres a half a tank, the lines inside the tank or good. the valve is good. i took off the hose on the valve that goes to the inline filter and no gas comes out as it should..bad pump? i noticed that, in the pump body, where the two small clear disc are, one of them is nicked( like some on nicked it with a screw driver or something..on the edge the disc and the metal has like a little nick on it right below the disc..do i need to replace the whole body.. i dont think that the plastic disc can seal the hole like its supposed to.

and also looking for the rebuild kit where i can just go and pick it up, and pay cash.

do i need to replace the round diphragm if its not torn?

Blow into it and see if you hear bubbles in the tank. If you do then it confirms no gas at carb.
But why do you say its not getting gas? Did you put carbs back together and now you have no gas? if so, Then suck gas to carb to prime line.
Its easier than hitting starter and hold choke and hitting accelerator all at the same time.

Local dealer has it under 50 bucks. No waiting. Not that much cheaper online either...

yea ocod, you sent me that manual/link too, didnt work, i got the same error... funny the link has a bunch of stars in it like this *****

miamiboy, I bet your friend effed it up when he put the carb back together...
if your carb has faulty parts in it, it won't work or suck for fuel right.

Here's the link to sbt for your ski. the block off is $15 and the carb kit is $27 or $34 depending on if you have the bn carb or sbn carb, but i think yours is sbn.. they both came up, but only sbn had your year listed..
Do you have a single or dual carbs? also that kit comes with the clear plastic.
you sound like a young guy, if you dont have a credit card, take your cash, go to a cvs, winn dixie, etc, get a "nfinanse" pre-paid VISA card for $3 (dont get the DISCOVER one, almost no one online will take it) and put your cash on the card. most places are really good with shipping, so if you're gonna go in to a dealer to buy parts, in CASH, you're usually going to pay double, as supposed to getting it online..yea, it sucks having to wait a few days more, but when you cant even hire a mechanic, saving money takes priority over not WANTING to WAIT to fix your ski...

and oscar, yea, want the trailer, but got hit with some damn TOLL-BY-PLATES when i first moved down here, and I JUST got my change of address done at DMV and at the POST office, so i never got the first, second, or third notices, just the certified letters I got the other day after the address was changed.. let me tell ya, a 40 cent, 65 cent, 70 cent and 40 cent toll just turned into $150 a PIECE! im like LIVID right now...
at first, they were ONLY $26 a piece, but i didnt get those notices either...

I'm gonna try and fight it, we'll see..but you know how that goes...
Damn MDX (miami-dade expressway)
So i guess try and get rid of it if you can...

and as for the motor, phew, took me wood blocks and a breaker bar JUST to get TWO of the head bolts loose..theyre not even out yet...my arms look like POPEYE...then i got eaten alive by mosquitoes....
I gotta take it to work one day..even in the middle of the day under the house pillars i was getting eaten alive....
Those two bolts just feel as if theyll never come out...

ok i blew into the inlet line that comes from tank. i do hear bubbles and i can suck the gas through but it seems that the pump cant...should the valve be on res or on completely?

as for as ordering the rebuild kit, i will be placing my order on thursday(payday) i will buy the single carb rebuil kit, oil block off plate and the fuel pump body..i figure about 100 bucks or so. not bad for a perfectly working sea doo (HOPEFULLY)

check to see how much shipping is. Usually thats the kicker...
I called every local shop and asked if they had parts then found it online to compare price.
if shipping cost the same or took longer for a little less I opted for stealer.....

miami - good luck with the kits, just take your time. if you get frustrated then quit for a little bit.

96 - you got me confused...what are toll -by-plates? never heard of such a thing.

Florida did away with toll collectors. So its either get Sunpass and put money on it or camera takes picture and end of month or so state sends you letter saying you owe so much plus processing fee(aka toll by plate)??
