2002 GTX DI. Forgot to put drain plugs in and salt water got in engine (Wanted to kick my own ass). Drained water, replaced gas, started fine on dock with garden hose connected. In water it idles fine (no beeps) but won't go over 3200RPM. Replaced ECM (Brain) and rear wire harness as there was corrosion (as per dealer). Put it back in the water and it did the exact same thing. Any ideas?

It's a DI, there a hard puppy to troubleshoot. Have you checked your air hoses? Make sure there are no breaks.
This system also uses an air injector and fuel injector. They both have regulators on them. If one is not functioning, then it may keep your rpms down. I would think it would throw a P code though.
