Won’t beep on key

My 99 sportster won’t beep on key. Battery is good and fully charged. I can hear solenoid engage on key. All other electrical works, lights and fan. Boat will turn over but won’t fire. All fuses in engine compartment are not blown. Same as fuses under console storage. Any advice would be very appreciated.

Very common for the beeper to go bad.
Have you checked to see if you have spark?

Yes have spark on both plugs. Cleaned air filter so have oxygen. Haven’t verified fuel flow yet. Drained all last years gas and put in fresh in tank.

Put a little premix down the carbs and see if it will fire.

great advice, I got the boat to fire and have been out on 3 long day trips since. Boat seems to be running great. My only concern is no alarm buzzer to warn me of overheat or oil injection system failure. Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement buzzer or have a part number? 97 Sportster—

A piezo buzzer from electronics store may work if you can’t find oem. If you’re lucky to have a radio shack in your area they should have it.
