Wiring boost/AFR gauges

Hi, I'll be installing two gauges on my RXT 260 2012, one is a MTX-L Wideband O2 sensor and the other a MTX-D boost gauge... Where is the best place to power both gauges?

The Wideband sensor need power to preheat before you start the engine...

I have the RIVA Intake Manifold Upgrade and the exhaust manifold drilled for the afr gauge... My question was more on the electrical side :-)

How about regulator output for constant power (confirm first, it's actually constant) and gauge pod power for when MPEM is awake?

Need to check this :-) is there a free place for a 5A fuse... Maybe I can bring a new wire to the front and use a relay from a dess activated circuit...

I think there's a lot of possibilities to do that.... Looking for the better one!

I agree using MPEM in/outputs should be approached with caution and if you're going to go that route a MPEM driven relay is an approach I agree with IF you use a relay that has a BLOCKING DIODE already built in to suppress voltage spikes or added on (~1Amp, 400PIV), to prevent MPEM damage then you can add an inline blade fuse of the appropriate size for wire gauge as close as possible to high(er) current voltage source by using a "waterproof" blade fuse holder:

In this drawing, the "R" is the resistance of the relay coil that has an inductance "L", and the formula V(coil) = L (di/dt) where dt is near zero and L is some value greater than zero, so as the coil current collapses(di), thus the reverse voltage across the coil could be nearly 100volts(typical value for small relays) for an instant, which can destroy a solid state driver device (such as may be used inside the MPEM).
