Hello everyone.

First off, this forum is amazing! I am a new seadoo owner, and needless to say, i have no idea how to winterize my 1995 spx. I read a million posts, but i am not quite sure what i am supposed to do when it comes to the antifreeze section (i did all the rest). I live in Montreal, Canada, and it gets really cold up here during winter.

I have the cooling system diagram infront of me, so if someone could tell me which hoses to pinch, and which hose to fill, it would be great.

Also, one last thing... does the antifreeze have to stay in there all winter or do we simply use it to flush the water out?

Thanking you in advance for the help,

David

David in my signature is a link for winterizing a 2 stroke seadoo. That should help you out.

the antifreeze is put in the system to guarantee that the little pockets of water that remain are mixed with antifreeze so nothing freezes - so YES leave it in there and do not start your ski on the hose until spring when you are ready to leave the freezing temps behind. many believe that there is no water left behnind when you run it on the trailer dry for a few seconds, but for 3-4$ why gamble. I gamble since mne is in my garage and i dont want antifreeze of ANY kind near my dogs - even the pink stuff. just my .02

I realize that you live in Montreal, but this has got to be a record for winterizing your ski, it's been in the 100's here for like the last two weeks, the reason we're not at the lake today is it's just too hot.
