Winterizing question

I'm winterizing my 97 GTX and 98 GTI, and was wondering if it will work to hook a short garden hose up to the flushing inlet at back of jet ski, then turning on motor and pouring antifreeze into hose to flush it through the engine. Seems easier to me than unhooking hoses from motor, etc. Just not sure if it will work. Thanks for any advice!

That's the way I do it with my 96 GTX, the last 3 winters.

I turn on motor first to blow out any possible water then put the RV anti freeze in. Be sure to use the stuff made for aluminum engines....(Non-toxic to lakes)
RV anti-freeze is OK as long as it labeled as such.
