I have asked several times for someone to point me to resource to find more specific information beyond the shop manual and the parts diagram to be able to winterize a 2007 4-TEC machine. Is the only way to get specific information with pictures or diagrams to know how to fog the carb and which hoses to pull is to become a premium member?

If I knew I would tell you. I am getting mine winterized at the dealer next week. We have a pretty good relationship and I have brought him lost of business...so if I promise that I will keep getting it winterized there maybe he will let me watch. If it works out that way I will take some pictures and post them.

We have done our best in providing the instructions for our members to winterize the 2 stroke and 4 stroke engines. The parts that need to be winterized and to the best of our ability, where they are or what they are.
Without personally being there to help you pull off these components and helping you put the antifreeze in, I don't know what else I can say or do to help.
The instructions are outlined in the forums threads on winterizing, as simple as I can possibly make it............if you can suggest what else I can do to make it any easier on you, let me know and I"ll try and help. But you have to understand, that out of the 455 members that have read the threads for the procedure to winterize, there is only one or two that are having this problem.
