Will a jet pump from a 1998 Sea-Doo GTX 951 fit my 2000 XP 951?

Need to know as the rebuild kits are different, I just bought one off ebay (not the bronze one) and hopefully it will work

Same pump, different nozzle housing, since the gtx has the reverse gate, xp does not.

the "98" you probably looked up, is actually, a 1999 model gtx. In 98, they made both 800cc and 951cc gtx's.

So the 98 951 pumps have the same exact parts as the 00 951 pumps? I still dont know why the 98 951 pump rebuild kits are different.

b4 purchasing the rebuild kit, wait to see if the new one, even needs it.

If def needs a rebuild, it has 200 hours on the pump

The neoprene seal is different than my 2000 XP, the one from the 98 has a ridge in it cause the 98 pump has a ridge, I hope it will work, it may not need a rebuild afterall
