will 951 motor seize if not started for a year & half?

Havent used my gtx ski for a year & a half and brought a new battery but it wont start or turn over. i always flush when ever i use it & never had any water in it. can it seize from just not starting for that long? have starter motor out and works fine on bench1

did you fog the motor when you stored it?

Unless you blow it out after use, there is always water left in it. If you did not drain and fog it, then it is very likely it could be seized up. Or if you are someplace where it could freeze it may have worse damage. If it didnt freeze, the rings may just be rusted to the cylinder walls. Take the plugs out and put a little oil down in the holes and let it sit for a day then try again.

You may also want to pull the pump to make sure it isnt locked up and keeping the motor from turning.
