Why do Yamaha guys Hate Seadoo

All I know is my skis look to me timeless. At 10-14 years old, the late 90s and 2,000s sea-doos look like they could have been built today. People always ask if mine are new... I say no... 12 years old.

Oh I want to. I took a quick ride on a rxt 215 once. I made an offer on a 255 RXP but ended up not buying it. I'm sure the acceleration is fun but for me I think that would wear off after a few hours.
 
When I first rode my RXPX, I was absolutely blown away. Like anything tho, you just get used to the acceleration. But I love the sound it makes between the exhaust & the supercharger whining, its a beast at the very least. Squeeze the lever & in a few seconds your going 60 MPH. a few more & your going 70. Its nearly insane. I can't even imagine driving it with these big HP kits that are available.
 
I think all two stroke guys should just get along. We're a dying breed. I ride a Polaris most of the time, but I love it, and its the most fun, torqiest, snappiest powerband Ive personally ever had in a ski. Two smokes unite!

I can't speak for the RXT, which is a larger model, but I ride regular with two RXPX and occasionally with 3-4 more.

the two regulars that I ride with are very very aggressive riders and they toss those ski's around like they are on old school X4's, catch BIG air, hammer into 180's at 40mph, it's not about acceleration, these thing's really do handle like a dream, especially with the sponson's dropped down. I was with these two nutcases 3 weeks ago, we did a 30 mile run up the river cruising comfortably around 45 and when we got to our turnaround spot well agreed to do a speed run back. They hit the twisty river run back like Grand Prix Drivers, I was hitting tight corners at 60-63 and the straightaways around 70 and every time I looked ahead they were a little further away. They actually had to stop and wait for me every 10 miles or so because they lost sight of me behind and wanted to make sure I didn't launch into the tree's. I was holding back in the turns, because I don't want to die, they didn't hold back much. Trust me, we were anything but bored !

Again, all I can say is if you park your azz on a RXPX that there is a hell of a lot more to it than just straight line acceleration, this thing is capable of some serious chit.

And don't get me wrong, when I had my 96xp, I used to make fun of the big couches as well, then I got on one of those beasts and I learned just what they were capable of. And I personally really haven't learned how to properly ride one myself, my seat time has been very limited.

Now with that said, I've never seen a big FXHO/SHO get tossed around, and its possible that I just haven't been around the right guy to show me what they are capable of, or the FZR's for that matter, but I'm definitely around the right RXP guys.
