hi im just wondering what the problem could be with having a little smoke coming from the exhaust when accelerating from stop.... my best guess is that i sucked up something into the impeller and its just wearing down the wear ring.

addition to the previous is that the seadoo sounds louder (growling when accelerating/ driving) and does not have that nice spooling sound.

if that is the problem how can i check for this problem and/or fix it?

White smoke is a cold engine usually. Nothing to be worried about if it hasnt been started for long. If it is doing it while the engine is hot, then it may be guzzling a little too much oil which could either mean your cylinder head is cracked or you've filled it too full of oil. Check up the impeller, just shine a torch up the back and have a look if there is anything in your impeller. Let me know how it goes. Hope this helps dude!

hey iv got a 2005 Wake and mine does smoke a bit white as well, and i do believe its a bit overfull. As for the growling and excessive noise i have the same issue. I would check ur wear ring and impeller out. Mine has excessive wear on opposite sides and i was told the plastic housings warp and crack causing this. I am told the new aluminum housing im installing will cure the problem. At 300 bucks it better! Cheers
