Ok so I thought maybe I had fixed my problem of cavitation after a new wear ring, because the back clamp on the bellows that attaches to the thru fitting was loose. Anyways tightened it up took it for a spin and same thing. Cavitation with wot on take off until I hit 25mph then it runs great never slips. Anyways was just messing around tring to pull back on the different pieces down by the carbon ring but I am kinda stumped at the moment. Is the carbon ring attached to the front of the bellows and held on by the clamp, becausewhat im seeing is the bellows followed by the, Im assuming, stainless steel ring with the flange then about an inch in front of that under the black rubber boot there is anoher silver silver rather large ring around the shaft which I am uncertain what it is and by the diagrams it says its the ring seal carrier. Anyways the diagram and my seadoo dont look exactly alike. its like on mine the ring seal carrier is the silver flange piece right in front of the bellows. And if this is so where exactly is the c-clip im looking for because when i try and push back on the bellows or stainless ring thing in front of the bellows it barely moves. Is it so hard because I havent taken off the pump?? I will be doing all of this on sunday. I go back to work for the next few days have no time right now but im trying to get everything sorted first off. I have another ski with fiberglass damage that has same carbon ring so just gonna swap everything out and see if it fixes the problem for now so I dont spend $100 and it not even be the problem. Anyways any help is greatly appreciated. Ill see if i can take more pics or even a video when I take everything off.
