where is the rust removal recipe?

I thought I remember reading a while back where one of you guys had a secret recipe for effectively removing rust from steel parts. Either I am not using the correct search terms, or I am loosing my mind. (probably both)

I have a mag flywheel & some other parts that had rusted from water getting into mag housing at some point in its past. Its not terrible, but wouldn't mind cleaning it up better before sealing it up from daylight

If you have an old brake rotor or drum, you can do rust removal by electrolysis.

well, I tried the evaporust. I was going to post pictures earlier, but I couldn't find the flywheel that I put in the container. looked everywhere, but it was gone. This one will have to do.........

(kidding of course... it worked awesome)
