I'm assuming that the buzzer on my 97 GTX is bad. I get no beeps when I put the key on the post and I get no beeps when I do the self diagnostic (5 start button pushes) I do however recieve a HI Temp warning on the display. can someone help me out with these 2 issues. what is the Hi Temp warning about? where is the buzzer?
also the HI Temp warning is while the Ski is in my Garage it has not been running. it ran perfect last weekend while out on the river.

The buzzer is in the handlebar pad.

The temp sender is on top of the engine between the spark plugs. Make sure the wire is on it. AND... that it's clean and tight. When cold... the switch should be "Open." If you check it with a meter, and you see that it's closed... the switch is bad.
