Ok well in a previous thread I thought I had leakage issues of the fuel tank...turns out it was nothing at all when I took the boat for a test drive...boat was running awesome for an hour or so and the fuel usage seemed normal...pulling my two buddies on a tube...well we parked the boat and were swimming for a little while...when we started heading back to the house, the right engine was working great, but the left one would hesitate and die...so since it was getting dark, we decided we better get home asap and deal with the left one later... so i was just cruising at about 5 mph with the right engine only...well luck have it, we got too close to land and the right engine sounded like it sucked something in...it was only a split second before i realized it and I cut it off...after we got away from the land i tried cutting it on but nothing...i got in the water and reached into the intake grate and it felt clear...the only thing I can think of is maybe a rock got stuck in the impellar and is preventing it from turning? It's almost like it will slowly turn and catch, if that makes sense... I have no idea, but all i know is i have had the WORST luck with this boat...I don't know how i manage to stay in a good mood :D ...

Also, random note regarding the fuel system...in the sea doo manual, they say to use the wires on the baffle as a reference point when inspecting/reinstalling your fuel lines...well, mine don't exactly match up the same as the manual shows (work done by previous owner) but my boat runs...I looked into this before when I was having fuel issues (turns out it was just bad fuel)...but does that make sense, or would the boat not run at all if the previous owner hooked them up incorrectly...

If the hoses are hooked up wrong... it may not run... or you could be running off the reserve port, when your valve is set to "Run." If that happens... you will be stuck if you run out of fuel.

I don't think I have a reserve port...My boat doesn't have that switch that shows the 3 options...As far as I know I only have one 40 gallon tank...

Also, if anyone cares, my boat was fine haha:cheers:
